Effect Size Measures
A significant p-value tells you that a difference exists, but it does not tell you how big that difference is. Effect size measures fill that gap:
- Eta-squared (η²): The proportion of total variation explained by group membership. Values of 0.01, 0.06, and 0.14 are commonly considered small, medium, and large effects.
- Omega-squared (ω²): A less biased version of eta-squared that adjusts for sample size. It is generally preferred for reporting.

Post-Hoc Tests
