Introduction
The Adopt Me Value Calculator works out what a pet costs to get, from Adopt Me's own prices and the chances Uplift Games publishes for its treats, boxes and gifts. Pick a pet, choose Normal, Neon or Mega Neon, and add Fly or Ride potions if you want them. Adopt Me! is a Roblox game made by Uplift Games.1
The tool shows how many purchases you can expect to need, the expected cost in Robux, and what that Robux costs in US dollars. It also gives your chance of getting the pet within the number of purchases you plan, and how many purchases give a 50% or a 90% chance.
How to Use Our Adopt Me Value Calculator
Pet or reward: Pets are grouped by how you get them: treats bought with Robux, pets bought outright, things bought with Bucks, Santa's gifts and event boxes. Each entry shows the pet's chance.
Version: Normal is one pet. A Neon takes 4 pets and a Mega Neon takes 16, so the expected cost grows the same way.
Fly and Ride potions: Tick these to add the potions' Robux price.
Bucks bought with Robux: For anything priced in Bucks, pick the Bucks pack used to turn the price into Robux.
Robux bought with US dollars: Pick a Robux package to see what the Robux cost. The website and other platforms give different amounts of Robux for the same price.
Purchases you plan to make: Enter how many times you plan to buy, to see your chance of getting the pet.
Press Calculate to see the results, the working, and everything the same treat, gift or box can give. Reset puts back the starting choices.
How the Expected Cost Is Worked Out
A treat gives one pet from a short list, each with a fixed chance. If a pet has a 2.5% chance, you need 1 ÷ 0.025 = 40 treats on average to get it, and the expected cost is 40 times the treat's price. Luck can make it cheaper or dearer, which is why the tool also shows your chance within a set number of purchases.
To make a Neon, take four fully grown pets of the same kind to the Neon Cave, and four fully grown Neons make a Mega Neon.11 So a Neon takes 4 pets and a Mega Neon 16, plus the time to raise each one. If one of the pets used has a Fly or Ride potion, the Neon keeps that ability.11

In the Adopt Me shop, the Kitty Biscuit costs 75 Robux, the Golden Dandelion, Golden Seed Ball and Golden Goldfish cost 195 Robux each, and the Maple Leaf Treat and Golden Corn cost 199 Robux each.12 A Fly A Pet Potion costs 255 Robux and a Ride-A-Pet Potion 130 Robux.12 Bucks packs run from 50 Bucks for 24 Robux to 10,000 Bucks for 3,910 Robux.12
Roblox sells 1,000 Robux for $9.99 on its website, and 800 Robux for $9.99 on other platforms.13 The dollar figure is what the Robux cost to buy. Adopt Me pets are not bought or sold for money.
