Introduction

This Robux calculator shows you three things fast: how much Robux your money buys, how much real cash your Robux is worth through DevEx, and how much you keep after the 30% Marketplace fee.

Type a dollar, euro, or pound amount and the tool matches it to the closest official Roblox package. You can pick Web or Gift Cards, or other platforms like mobile, Xbox, and PlayStation, which give fewer Robux for the same price. Turn on the Premium switch to add the 10% bonus Robux that members get.

Sellers and game creators can use the DevEx tab to see cash payouts at $0.0035 per Robux, plus a warning if you are under the 30,000 Robux minimum. If you only need one side of the math, the dedicated Roblox DevEx Calculator and Roblox Tax Calculator cover cashouts and Marketplace fees on their own. The Marketplace Tax tab here works both ways: enter a listing price to see your payout, or enter the payout you want to see what price to list.

Every answer comes with a step-by-step solution, a chart, and a table of official Robux prices, so you can see exactly how the math works before you spend or cash out. For a straight currency view of any Robux balance, try the Robux to USD Calculator.

How to use our Robux Calculator

Pick a tab, type in your money or Robux amount, and the calculator shows how many Robux you get, what a DevEx cashout pays, or how much Roblox takes from a sale. It also shows the math step by step, plus charts and the official Robux package prices.

Display Currency: Choose USD, EUR, or GBP. This changes the money shown on every tab. Rates here are fixed estimates, so check a live Currency Calculator if you need today's exact conversion.

Conversion Direction (Buy Robux tab): Pick "Money → Robux" to see how many Robux your cash buys. Pick "Robux → Money" to see what your Robux are worth. The swap button flips it fast.

Purchase Platform: Choose "Web / Gift Cards" if you buy on the Roblox website. Choose "Other Platforms" for mobile, Xbox, or PlayStation, which give fewer Robux for the same price.

Membership: Turn the switch on if you have Roblox Premium. This adds a 10% Robux bonus to your purchase. To see how a 10% bump compares to other bonus sizes, the Percentage Increase Calculator handles it quickly.

Amount to Spend: Type how much money you want to spend. The tool snaps to the closest real Roblox package and tells you if it changed your number. Remember that store checkout may add tax — the Sales Tax Calculator shows what you actually pay.

Robux Amount: Type how many Robux you have. The tool shows what they cost to buy and what they are worth through DevEx.

Official Robux Packages table: Click any row (or press Enter on it) to load that package price into the calculator.

Robux to Exchange (DevEx tab): Type the whole number of Robux you want to cash out. You get your payout in real money, plus a warning if you are under the 30,000 Robux minimum.

Calculation Direction (Marketplace Tax tab): Pick "Listing → Payout" to see what you keep after the 30% fee. Pick "Payout → Listing" to see what price to set to hit the payout you want.

Listing Price (Robux): Type the price buyers pay for your item. The tool shows the fee and your net Robux.

Desired Payout (Robux): Type the Robux you want to keep. The tool shows the listing price you need to set. If you sell on other storefronts too, compare the cut using the Etsy Fee Calculator or PayPal Fee Calculator.

Calculate and Reset: Results update as you type, but you can press Calculate any time. Reset puts that tab back to its starting values.

What Is Robux?

Robux (R$) is the money used inside Roblox. Players buy Robux with real cash, then spend it on game passes, avatar items, and other in-game extras. Creators earn Robux when people buy the things they make.

How Much Robux Costs

Roblox sells Robux in set packages. On the Roblox website and with gift cards, $9.99 gets you 800 Robux. That works out to about $0.0125 per Robux, or $12.50 for 1,000 Robux. You cannot pick any dollar amount you want — you must buy one of the packages.

Why the Platform Matters

You get fewer Robux when you buy inside the mobile app, on Xbox, or on PlayStation. Those stores take a cut, so the same money buys roughly 20% less Robux. Buying on the Roblox website or with a gift card gives you the most Robux. The Percent Difference Calculator is handy if you want to measure that gap yourself.

The Premium Bonus

Roblox Premium members get 10% extra Robux on direct Robux purchases. So an 800 Robux pack becomes 880 Robux. The bonus does not apply when you redeem a gift card. Premium members also get a monthly Robux allowance and can trade items. If you value trades in Robux, in-game value tools like the Blox Fruits Trading Calculator, Adopt Me Value Calculator, and Steal A Brainrot Value Calculator pair well with this one.

The 30% Marketplace Fee

When someone buys your item or game pass, Roblox keeps 30% and you keep 70%. If you list an item for 1,000 Robux, you get 700 Robux. To end up with a certain amount, divide your goal by 0.70. For example, if you want 700 Robux, list the item at 1,000 Robux. Donation games follow the same rule, which the Pls Donate Calculator walks through in detail.

DevEx: Turning Robux Into Real Money

The Developer Exchange program (DevEx) lets creators cash out earned Robux for real money. The rate is $0.0035 per Robux, or $3,500 for 1,000,000 Robux. You need at least 30,000 Robux to make a DevEx request, plus a Roblox Premium membership, a verified email, and an account that is 13 or older. DevEx money counts as self-employment income in most cases, so the Self Employment Tax Calculator and 1099 Tax Calculator are worth a look before you plan your payout.

Buy Rate vs. DevEx Rate

These two rates are not the same, and that surprises a lot of people. Robux costs about $0.0125 each to buy but pays out only $0.0035 each through DevEx — about 28% of the buy price. That gap is how Roblox makes money. It also means you cannot "cash out" Robux you bought; only Robux you earned as a creator can go through DevEx. If you treat game development as a business, the Profit Calculator and ROI Calculator help you judge whether your build time pays off.

Quick Numbers to Remember

  • 1,000 Robux costs about $12.50 on web
  • 1,000 Robux pays about $3.50 through DevEx
  • Sellers keep 70% of every sale
  • DevEx minimum is 30,000 Robux (about $105)
  • Premium adds 10% extra Robux on purchases

Prices and rates come from Roblox and can change. Currency amounts other than USD use set exchange rates, so treat them as close estimates. Creators earning from videos alongside game passes can also compare income streams with the YouTube Money Calculator.

Frequently asked questions

How many Robux do I get for $1?

Roblox does not sell a $1 package. The smallest web pack is $4.99 for 400 Robux, which is about 80 Robux per dollar. Bigger packs give more per dollar. The last column of the package table shows the R$ per $1 for each option.

Which Robux package gives the best value?

The biggest one. On the web, $199.99 gives 22,500 Robux, or about 112 Robux per dollar. The $4.99 pack only gives about 80 Robux per dollar.

  • $4.99 → 400 R$ (~80 per $1)
  • $49.99 → 4,500 R$ (~90 per $1)
  • $199.99 → 22,500 R$ (~112 per $1)

Why did the calculator change the amount I typed?

Roblox only sells set package prices. If you type an amount that is not a real package, the tool snaps to the closest one and shows a blue note telling you what it picked.

What if I want to spend more than $199.99?

The tool uses the $199.99 package rate and scales it up. In real life you would buy more than one package, so treat that number as an estimate.

How much is 10,000 Robux in real money?

It depends on which side you look at:

  • Buying it: about $125
  • Cashing out with DevEx: about $35

That gap is normal. Roblox sells Robux for more than it pays out.

How much is 1 million Robux worth?

About $3,500 through DevEx. Buying that many Robux would cost around $12,500 at the web rate.

Why does the tool show two different dollar values for the same Robux?

One is the buy rate ($0.0125 per Robux) — what those Robux cost to purchase. The other is the DevEx rate ($0.0035 per Robux) — what Roblox pays you in cash. They are never the same number.

Do Roblox gift cards get the 10% Premium bonus?

No. The bonus only works on direct Robux purchases. Redeeming a gift card gives you the plain amount with no extra Robux.

Does the price shown include sales tax?

No. The prices are the sticker prices from Roblox. Your store or app may add tax at checkout, so your card charge can be a bit higher.

Are the euro and pound numbers exact?

No. The tool uses fixed exchange rates, so EUR and GBP results are close estimates. Real prices in your country may differ.

Why is my Marketplace payout rounded down?

Robux only come in whole numbers. If 70% gives a decimal, the tool rounds down, just like Roblox does. The leftover goes into the fee.

What price do I list to keep exactly 1,000 Robux?

List it at 1,429 Robux. That gives you 1,000 after the 30% fee. Use the "Payout → Listing" option to work out any target amount.

Does the 30% fee apply to game passes too?

Yes. Game passes, developer products, and most Marketplace items all give the seller 70%. The tax tab works the same for all of them.

Is the DevEx payout before or after taxes?

Before. The number shown is what Roblox sends you. You may still owe income tax on it, so set some aside.

The DevEx tab says I am short on Robux. What now?

You need 30,000 Robux to request a cashout. The warning shows exactly how many more you need. Keep earning from sales or game passes until you pass the line.

Do free Robux websites and generators work?

No. They are scams. Robux can only come from buying a package, a gift card, Premium, or earning it in Roblox. Never give out your password.

Can I use this calculator on my phone?

Yes. Everything fits a small screen, and the package table slides sideways so you can see all the columns.

Is this an official Roblox tool?

No. It is an independent calculator that uses public Roblox prices and rates. Roblox can change those at any time, so always check your cart before you pay.
