Introduction

Our Fantasy Football Trade Calculator helps you figure out if a trade is fair before you make it. Just add players or draft picks to each side, and the tool does the math for you. It shows you the total value of each trade package, tells you who has the better win rate in the deal, and gives you charts and stats to back it up.

This calculator works for redraft, keeper, dynasty, and best ball leagues. You can turn on Superflex, set TE premium, change your scoring format, and adjust your league size. Every setting you pick changes how players are valued, so the results match your league's rules.

You also get a full breakdown of each trade with step-by-step math, trend charts, player rankings, and insights that flag things like injury risk and aging rosters. Whether you are offering a blockbuster deal or a simple swap, this tool gives you the data you need to trade with confidence.

How to Use Our Fantasy Football Trade Calculator

Enter your league settings and add players or draft picks to each side of a trade. The calculator will score every asset, compare the two sides, and tell you if the trade is fair, lopsided, or worth accepting.

League Type: Pick the format you play. Choose Redraft, Keeper, Dynasty, or Best Ball. This changes how age and long-term value affect each player's score.

Superflex: Turn this on if your league has a second QB slot. It raises the value of all quarterbacks.

TE Premium: Use the plus and minus buttons to set your tight end bonus. Each level adds extra points per reception for tight ends, which boosts their trade value.

Scoring Preset: Select Standard, Half-PPR, or Full PPR to match your league's scoring rules. This controls how many points players earn per catch.

League Size: Slide the bar to set your league's team count, from 8 to 16. Larger leagues make top players more scarce and more valuable.

Startup Draft Mode: Turn this on if your league is brand new. It gives extra weight to young players and rookies who will produce for many years.

Future Pick Adjustment: Slide right to inflate future draft pick values or left to deflate them. Use this if your league overvalues or undervalues picks.

Acceptable Variance: Set how close in value both sides must be to count as a fair trade. A low number means only near-equal trades pass. A high number is more forgiving. Think of it like the percent difference that you are willing to tolerate between the two packages.

Advanced Settings: Click this panel to turn on IDP scoring, add extra roster slots, set position limits, or fine-tune point values for passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, and defense.

Team A Receives: Type a player name, team, or draft pick year into the search box. Click a result to add it. You can add up to five assets that Team A would get in the trade.

Team B Receives: Do the same for the other side. Add up to five players or picks that Team B would get in return.

Manual Value Adjustment: Add or subtract points on either side to account for factors the calculator cannot measure, like your team's roster needs or a handshake deal.

Analyze Trade: Press this button to run the full analysis. You will see a trade verdict, a fairness rating out of 100, value charts, trend graphs, and a step-by-step breakdown of how the score was calculated.

Fantasy Football Trade Calculator

In fantasy football, you build a team of real NFL players and earn points based on how they play each week. Trading players with other people in your league is one of the best ways to make your team stronger. But it can be hard to know if a trade is fair or not. That is where a trade calculator comes in. If you enjoy evaluating trades in other games as well, our SAB Trade Calculator works on a similar concept for gaming assets.

A fantasy football trade calculator compares the expected value of the players and draft picks on each side of a trade. It looks at things like a player's stats, age, position, and your league's scoring rules. Then it gives each asset a number so you can see which side is getting more value. If both sides are close in total value, the trade is fair. If one side is much higher, the trade favors that team.

Trade values change based on your league settings. A quarterback is worth a lot more in a Superflex league, where you can start two QBs. In dynasty leagues, young players are worth more because you keep your roster for many years. Tight ends gain extra value in TE premium leagues. Draft picks also carry different weight depending on the round, the year, and whether your league is redraft or dynasty. The calculator uses a weighted average approach that accounts for all of these factors when scoring each asset.

Using a trade calculator before you accept or send a trade helps you avoid bad deals. It also helps you build offers that the other team is more likely to accept. Whether you play in a casual league with friends or a competitive money league where understanding betting odds and value matters, knowing the true value of your players gives you a real edge on trade day. If you also follow sports betting alongside fantasy, tools like our Parlay Calculator and Bet Calculator can help you apply that same analytical mindset to your wagers.

Frequently asked questions

What is a fair trade rating?

The fair trade rating is a score from 0 to 100. It measures how close in value both sides of the trade are. A score of 85 or higher means the trade is fair. A score below 85 means one side is getting more value than the other. The closer to 100, the more even the trade is.

How are player values calculated?

Each player's value is based on their projected stats, your league's scoring rules, their age, and their position. The calculator turns all of that into a single number. Younger players score higher in dynasty leagues. QBs score higher in Superflex leagues. Tight ends score higher with TE premium turned on.

How many players can I add to each side of a trade?

You can add up to 5 players or draft picks on each side. You must add at least 1 asset to both sides before the calculator can analyze the trade.

Can I trade draft picks in this calculator?

Yes. You can add draft picks from 2026 through 2029. For each pick, you can set the year, round (1st through 7th), and quality (early, mid, or late). The calculator values picks based on all of these settings plus your league type.

What does the variance slider do?

The variance slider sets how close in value both sides need to be for the trade to count as fair. A low number means only very even trades pass. A high number lets trades with a bigger gap still count as fair. Set it based on how strict your league is about balanced trades.

What is the difference between redraft and dynasty values?

In redraft, all rosters reset each year, so age does not matter much. In dynasty, you keep your players for many years, so young players are worth a lot more and older players lose value. The calculator adjusts every player's score based on which league type you pick.

What does Superflex do to player values?

Superflex means your league has a second QB slot. When you turn it on, quarterback values go up by about 50%. This is because QBs are much harder to find in Superflex leagues, so they are worth more in trades.

What does TE premium mean?

TE premium gives tight ends extra points for each catch. The calculator has three levels: TE+, TE++, and TE+++. Each level adds more bonus points per reception for TEs, which raises their trade value compared to other positions.

What does the future pick adjustment slider do?

This slider inflates or deflates the value of all future draft picks. Slide it right if your league overvalues picks. Slide it left if your league undervalues them. It changes pick values by about 3% per tick in either direction.

What does the positional scarcity toggle do?

When you turn on positional scarcity, the calculator gives a small boost to positions that are harder to fill, like RB and TE. This reflects the fact that top talent at those spots is limited, making those players more valuable in trades.

What do the trend badges on players mean?

Each player has a trend badge that shows if their value is rising, falling, or stable. A green "Rising" badge means the player's value has gone up recently. A red "Falling" badge means it has dropped. A gray "Stable" badge means it has stayed about the same.

What does the manual value adjustment box do?

It lets you add or subtract points from one side of the trade. Use it to account for things the calculator cannot measure, like your team's roster needs or a specific matchup advantage. A positive number adds value. A negative number removes it.

How do I load a sample trade?

Scroll down to the Popular Trades or Recent Trades section. Click any trade listed there, and it will load those players into the trade builder automatically. You can then edit or analyze the trade right away.

What does the injury risk badge mean?

The orange injury risk badge means that player has a history of injuries or a current health concern. It is a flag to remind you to check their status before making the trade. The calculator still values the player, but you should factor in the risk yourself.

Can I use this calculator for IDP leagues?

Yes. Open the Advanced Settings panel and turn on IDP Scoring. This adds a tab where you can set point values for tackles, sacks, interceptions, and other defensive stats. IDP players will also appear in search results and the leaderboard.

What does startup draft mode do?

Startup mode is for brand-new leagues where everyone drafts a full roster from scratch. When you turn it on, the calculator gives extra value to rookies and young players because they will produce for more seasons going forward.

How do I read the proportional value bar?

The proportional value bar shows what percentage of the total trade value each side is getting. If Team A shows 55% and Team B shows 45%, Team A is getting the better deal. The shaded band in the middle marks the range that still counts as fair based on your variance setting.

What is the Keep Trade Cut survey?

It is a quick poll at the bottom of the page. The calculator shows you three random players and asks you to rank each one as Keep, Trade, or Cut. Your answers help improve the value data over time. You can skip it or dismiss it if you prefer.

Does league size change player values?

Yes. Larger leagues make top players more scarce, so their values go up slightly. Smaller leagues have more talent available, so individual player values drop a bit. The calculator adjusts values based on the team count you set.

How often are player values updated?

Player values are updated frequently during the NFL season and offseason. The tool shows a timestamp near the top of the trade builder that tells you exactly how recently the data was refreshed.

What does the 6-month trend chart show?

The trend chart plots each player's trade value over the past six months. It helps you see if a player's value is going up, going down, or staying flat. Use it to spot buy-low or sell-high opportunities before you finalize a trade.

Can I click a player in the leaderboard to add them to a trade?

Yes. Click any row in the Top Trade Values table and that player will be added to Team A's side of the trade builder. You can then search for other players to add to Team B and run the analysis.
