Introduction
In Pls Donate, you can raise Robux or donate Robux to other players. Donations are Robux transfers, and a Roblox Plus subscription is required to donate Robux.1 But you don't keep all of it. When a transfer completes in a game, the game earns 10% of the Robux sent and the recipient receives the remaining 90%.2 So if someone donates 500 Robux, you get 450.
This Pls Donate calculator handles the calculation. It works two ways:
- Forward: Type in a donation amount and see how much Robux you actually receive after tax.
- Reverse: Type in how much Robux you want to keep, and it tells you how much a donor needs to send.
You can also change the tax rate if you need to. The tool shows a step-by-step breakdown, a chart of where the Robux goes, and a quick table for common donation amounts. How to use our Pls Donate Calculator
Pick a mode, choose your Roblox tax rate, and type a Robux amount. The calculator shows the share taken, the Robux you receive, and the donation you should ask for, plus a step-by-step solution and a chart.
Mode tabs: Press Forward to find out how much Robux you get from a donation. Press Reverse to find the donation a donor must send so you keep the amount you want.
Tax Rate: Leave this on Robux Transfer (10%) for Pls Donate donations. Pick Custom Tax Rate if you want to test a different fee, such as the 30% Marketplace Fee on a pass sold in your own game.
Custom Tax Rate (%): This box only shows when you choose Custom. Type any rate from 0 to 99, like 25 for a 25% cut.
Donation Amount / Desired Take-Home (R$): In Forward mode, type the Robux the donor sends, like 500. In Reverse mode, type the Robux you want to keep, like 300. Use whole numbers only.
Calculate and Reset: Results update as you type, but you can press Calculate to run it again. Press Reset to go back to the 10% transfer share and R$ 500.
What Is the Pls Donate Robux Tax?
Pls Donate is a Roblox game where players claim a booth, customize its text and receive Robux from other players.1 Donations are made as Robux transfers, which Roblox Plus subscribers can send straight to other users.3 Donating used to mean buying the other player's gamepass, but cross-game pass sales were disabled on May 30, 2026.4 When a Plus subscriber completes a transfer in a game, the game earns 10% of the Robux sent and the recipient receives the remaining 90%.2 Roblox itself does not take a fee from these transfers.2 That 10% is the "Pls Donate tax" this calculator works out.
How Much Robux Do You Actually Keep?
You keep 90% of every donation and the game keeps 10%. A 100 Robux transfer pays 90 Robux to the recipient and 10 Robux to the game.2 On a R$ 500 donation, you get R$ 450. The bigger the donation, the more you lose to the fee, but the split stays the same.
Whole Robux and Transfer Limits
Robux only come in whole numbers, so this calculator rounds your share down to a whole Robux. A R$ 15 donation works out to R$ 13.50, so the tool shows R$ 13. Each Robux transfer set up in a game must be between 10 and 500 Robux.2 In Robux Transfer mode the calculator flags any donation outside that range, and its quick table lists amounts inside it. Transfers are limited to 500 Robux a day and 1,000 a month, or 5,000 a day and 10,000 a month for users with 2-Step Verification who are in good standing.3
Asking for the Right Amount
If you want a set amount of Robux in your pocket, the donor has to send more than your goal. Divide your goal by 0.9 and round up. To take home R$ 300, ask for R$ 334. To take home R$ 450, ask for R$ 500. Many Pls Donate players ask for round amounts like 100 or 500 because they look nice at a booth, so just remember your real take-home will be 90% of that.
Other Things to Know
- Accepting a donation: You get a notification that a transfer is pending, and once you select Accept the Robux are added to your balance instantly. For users under 16, a linked parent account must approve each transfer.3
- Not for cashing out: Robux you receive as a transfer are not eligible for the DevEx program, so the Roblox DevEx calculator does not apply to them.3 You can only spend them on Roblox.3
- Transfers are final: Once you send Robux, you cannot reverse or cancel the transfer, so only send Robux to people you know.3
