What "45 Days From Today" Means
45 days from today is the date you land on when you count 45 full days forward on the calendar, starting with tomorrow. The start day itself does not count as day 1. So if today is a Friday, tomorrow is day 1, and day 45 is the answer.
45 days is about 6 weeks and 3 days, or roughly one and a half months. Because months have 28, 29, 30, or 31 days, adding 45 days is not the same as adding "a month and a half." Counting real days is the only way to get the exact date.

Most deadlines use calendar days. That means every day counts, weekends and holidays included. Some rules use business days instead, which skip Saturdays and Sundays. 45 business days is much longer than 45 calendar days, because you skip about 18 weekend days along the way. Things That Can Change the Date
A few small details matter when you count forward 45 days:
- Leap years: February has 29 days in a leap year, which shifts spring dates by one day.
