Introduction

This free Chipotle nutrition calculator helps you find out how many calories are in your meal before you order. Pick your entrée, protein, rice, beans, salsa, toppings, and sides. The tool adds up the calories, fat, carbs, protein, sodium, and other nutrients for you right away. It also shows allergen warnings so you know if your meal contains dairy, soy, or corn.

You can set your own daily calorie goal and see how much of it your Chipotle order uses. A color-coded progress bar and a donut chart make the results easy to read. If you want to order more than one item, use the "Add to Meal" button to build a full meal and track the total nutrition across all your items. A step-by-step breakdown shows you exactly how every number is calculated.

Whether you are counting calories, tracking macros, or managing food allergies, this calculator gives you the nutrition facts you need to make a smart choice at Chipotle. Chipotle Nutrition Calculator

This calculator helps you figure out the calories and nutrition in your Chipotle order before you eat it. You pick your entrée, protein, rice, beans, salsa, toppings, and sides — just like you would at the restaurant. The tool then adds up all the nutrition facts for you, including calories, fat, protein, carbs, sodium, fiber, and more.

Why Chipotle Nutrition Matters

A Chipotle meal can range from under 300 calories to well over 1,500 calories depending on what you choose. A plain burrito bowl with chicken, rice, and salsa is a lean, high-protein meal. But add guacamole, cheese, sour cream, queso, and a side of chips, and the calories can double or even triple. Knowing what's in your food helps you make choices that fit your health goals. If you are working toward a calorie deficit for weight loss, being aware of these differences is especially important.

How to Use This Tool

Start by picking your entrée type, like a burrito, bowl, tacos, salad, or quesadilla. Then choose a protein. You can pick single or double servings. Next, select your rice, beans, veggies, salsas, and toppings. For toppings, you can choose light, regular, or extra portions. Hit Calculate to see your full nutrition breakdown. If you want to track a full meal with multiple items, click Add to Meal to save your current build and start a new one. For a broader look at everything you eat throughout the day, our Food Calorie Calculator can help you log meals beyond just Chipotle.

Nutrition Tips for Ordering at Chipotle

If you want a high-protein, lower-calorie meal, try a burrito bowl with chicken, brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, and fresh tomato salsa. Skip the tortilla — it alone adds 320 calories. Guacamole is high in healthy fats but adds 230 calories. Cheese and sour cream add saturated fat and extra calories. Chips are one of the highest-calorie items on the menu at 540 calories per serving. If you are following a low-carb or ketogenic diet, our Keto Calculator and Carb Calculator can help you decide which Chipotle ingredients fit your plan.

The tool also shows allergens in your meal. Chipotle items can contain dairy, soy, and corn. If you have a food allergy, check the allergen summary after building your order.

Your daily calorie needs depend on your age, size, and activity level. The default goal in this calculator is 2,000 calories per day, which is a common reference. You can change this number to match your own goal. The progress bar and percent daily values will update based on what you enter. To find a more personalized number, use our BMR Calculator to estimate your basal metabolic rate, or check our Calories Burned Calculator to see how exercise affects your daily energy balance. If you are focused on reaching or maintaining a healthy weight, our Weight Loss Calculator and Ideal Body Weight Calculator can give you useful targets to work toward.

Frequently asked questions

Are the nutrition numbers in this calculator accurate?

The calorie and nutrient data in this tool comes from Chipotle's published nutrition information. Real-world portions can vary slightly because each worker scoops your food by hand. Use the numbers as a close estimate, not an exact count.

What does the Single and Double button do for protein?

Single means one normal scoop of that protein. Double means two scoops. When you pick Double, the calculator multiplies all the nutrition for that protein by two. This is the same as asking for double protein at the restaurant.

What do the Light, Reg, and Extra buttons mean for toppings?

Light gives you half a normal serving. Reg is one full serving. Extra is one and a half servings. The calories and nutrients change based on which one you pick.

How do I add more than one item to my meal?

Build your first item and press Add to Meal. It saves to your basket. Then pick your next item and add it too. The calculator adds all basket items together so you see one combined nutrition total.

Can I remove an item from my meal basket?

Yes. Each item in the basket has an × button on the right side. Click it to remove that item. The nutrition totals update right away.

What is the lowest calorie meal I can build?

A burrito bowl with no protein, no rice, no beans, and only fajita veggies and fresh tomato salsa is one of the lowest options. It comes in under 50 calories. Adding chicken and skipping high-fat toppings keeps the meal lean and high in protein.

Why does a burrito bowl show 0 calories for the entrée?

A burrito bowl has no tortilla or shell. The bowl itself has no calories. All the calories come from the fillings you add on top.

Which protein has the most calories?

Smoked Brisket has the most calories at 280 per serving. Plant-Based Chorizo is next at 240 calories. Chicken and steak are leaner options at 180 and 150 calories.

Which protein has the most protein grams?

Chicken has the most protein at 32 grams per serving. Chicken Al Pastor is close at 30 grams. Honey Chicken has 29 grams. These are your best picks if you want to maximize protein.

Is there a vegan option on this calculator?

Yes. Sofritas and Plant-Based Chorizo are both marked as vegan. Pair them with rice, beans, veggies, and salsa for a fully plant-based meal. Skip cheese, sour cream, and queso since those contain dairy.

What does the % DV column mean in the nutrient table?

DV stands for Daily Value. It shows what percent of a full day's recommended amount of that nutrient your meal provides. The percentages are based on the calorie goal you enter at the top of the results panel.

How many calories do chips add to my order?

A regular side of chips adds 540 calories. Chips and guacamole together add 770 calories. Chips are one of the highest calorie items on the Chipotle menu.

Does the calculator track allergens?

Yes. The allergen summary at the bottom of the results shows if your meal contains dairy, soy, or corn. Allergen badges also appear on individual tiles so you can spot them while building your order.

What does the LTO badge mean?

LTO stands for Limited Time Offer. Items with this badge are seasonal or temporary menu items. They may not be available at every Chipotle location or at all times.

Can I change my daily calorie goal?

Yes. Type any number between 800 and 8,000 in the calorie goal box. The progress bar, percent daily values, and step-by-step breakdown all update to match your new goal.

What does the donut chart show?

The donut chart shows what share of your meal's calories comes from protein, carbs, and fat. It helps you see at a glance if your meal is balanced or heavy in one macronutrient.

How much sodium is in a typical Chipotle meal?

A standard burrito bowl with chicken, white rice, black beans, mild salsa, and guacamole has roughly 1,500 mg of sodium. That is about 65% of the recommended daily limit of 2,300 mg. Adding queso or extra salsa raises it further.

What does the Clear Current Build button do?

It unchecks all your current selections so you can start building a new item from scratch. It does not remove any items already saved in your meal basket.

What does the Start Over button do?

Start Over clears everything — your current selections and all items saved in your meal basket. The tool will ask you to confirm before erasing anything.

Does this calculator include drink calories?

No. This tool only covers food items from the Chipotle menu. Drinks like sodas, lemonade, and agua frescas are not included. Add those calories separately if you order a drink.
