Base Stat Radar

Step-by-Step Solution (Fusion A + B)

Introduction

This Pokémon Fusion Calculator lets you pick any two Pokémon and combine them into one. It shows you the fused stats, types, abilities, and even a sprite of what the fusion looks like. The tool uses the same math as Pokémon Infinite Fusion, the popular fan game where you can merge any two Pokémon together. For an even deeper dive into fusion mechanics, check out our dedicated Pokémon Infinite Fusion Calculator.

Here is how it works. One Pokémon gives the head, and the other gives the body. The head controls HP, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def. The body controls Attack, Defense, and Speed. The fused typing comes from the head's first type and the body's second type. You get two fusion results each time because you can swap which Pokémon is the head and which is the body.

You can search by name or Pokédex number, filter by generation, or hit Randomize to try a surprise combo. The Find Fusion Match button picks partners with the best type synergy for your chosen Pokémon. A stat radar chart and a step-by-step breakdown show you exactly how each fused stat is calculated, so you can plan the strongest teams for your next playthrough.

How to Use Our Pokémon Fusion Calculator

Pick two Pokémon and this calculator will fuse them together. It shows you the fused name, typing, base stats, abilities, and type matchups for both fusion directions.

Sprite Style: Choose how the fused sprite looks. Pick Custom for community-made fusion art, Autogenerated for an auto-composite of head and body sprites, or Shiny for shiny-colored sprites. Curious about the odds of finding a shiny in the official games? Try our Shiny Odds Calculator.

Pokémon A: Type a Pokémon name or Pokédex number into the first search box. This Pokémon acts as the head in the first fusion and the body in the second.

Generation Filter A: Use the dropdown next to the search box to narrow your choices to a specific generation, or leave it on "All Generations" to see every Pokémon.

Pokémon B: Type a second Pokémon name or Pokédex number into the second search box. This one acts as the body in the first fusion and the head in the second.

Generation Filter B: Use this dropdown to filter the second slot by generation if you want.

Randomize Buttons: Click Randomize A, Randomize B, or Randomize Both to fill one or both slots with a random Pokémon from the selected generation.

Swap A ↔ B: Click this button to switch the two Pokémon between slots. This flips which one is the head and which is the body.

Find Fusion Match: Fill one slot and leave the other empty, then click this button. The calculator will suggest three partner Pokémon with the best type synergy. To understand exactly how types interact on defense and offense, our Pokémon Type Calculator breaks down every matchup.

Calculate Fusion: Press this button to run the fusion. You will get two result cards (A+B and B+A), a radar chart comparing base stats, and a step-by-step breakdown of how every fused stat was calculated.

Reset: Click this button to clear both slots and all results so you can start over.

What Is Pokémon Fusion?

Pokémon Fusion is a fan-made concept where two Pokémon are combined into one brand-new creature. The fused Pokémon gets a mixed name, blended stats, and a new type combination based on the two originals. It first became popular through online generators and fan art, and later gained a massive following thanks to the fan game Pokémon Infinite Fusion. If you want to explore the full scope of that game's mechanics, our Pokémon Infinite Fusion Calculator covers everything in detail.

How Pokémon Fusion Works

Every fusion has a head Pokémon and a body Pokémon. The head determines the first type and contributes more to HP, Special Attack, and Special Defense. The body determines the second type and contributes more to Attack, Defense, and Speed. Abilities can come from either the head or the body. This means fusing Charizard + Blastoise gives a different result than Blastoise + Charizard. Order matters. Once you know a fusion's stats, you can use our Pokémon Damage Calculator to see how much damage it deals in battle, or check its individual values with the Pokémon IV Calculator.

Why Trainers Love Fusing Pokémon

Fusion lets you create Pokémon with type combinations and stat spreads that don't exist in the official games. You can patch a Pokémon's weaknesses, stack its strengths, or just make something that looks cool. For example, fusing a Fire-type with a Water-type can remove common weaknesses and create a more balanced fighter. Use our Pokémon Type Calculator to map out exactly which weaknesses and resistances a given type combo carries. With over 200,000 possible fusion pairs in Pokémon Infinite Fusion, there is always something new to try. If you enjoy creature-merging mechanics in other games, our Palworld Breeding Calculator offers a similar experience for Palworld.

Fused Stats and Typing Explained

The fused base stats use a weighted average. Stats tied to the head (HP, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def) count the head's value twice and the body's once, then divide by three. Stats tied to the body (Attack, Defense, Speed) do the opposite. If you want to explore weighted averages in more depth, our Weighted Average Calculator walks through the general formula. The fused typing takes the head's primary type as Type 1 and the body's secondary type as Type 2. If the body only has one type, that type becomes Type 2 instead. To see exact stat values at any level after fusion, plug your numbers into our Pokémon Stat Calculator, and to figure out whether you can reliably catch a fusion in the wild, try the Pokémon Catch Rate Calculator.

Formulas used

Fused Stat (Head-Weighted: HP, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def)
\text{Stat}_{\text{fused}} = \left\lfloor \frac{2 \times \text{Stat}_{\text{head}} + \text{Stat}_{\text{body}}}{3} \right\rfloor
Fused Stat (Body-Weighted: Atk, Def, Speed)
\text{Stat}_{\text{fused}} = \left\lfloor \frac{2 \times \text{Stat}_{\text{body}} + \text{Stat}_{\text{head}}}{3} \right\rfloor
Base Stat Total
\text{BST} = \text{HP} + \text{Atk} + \text{Def} + \text{SpA} + \text{SpD} + \text{Spe}
Dual-Type Effectiveness Multiplier
M_{\text{atk}} = \prod_{i=1}^{n} m(\text{atk},\, t_i)

Frequently asked questions

What Pokémon are included in this fusion calculator?

This calculator includes over 170 Pokémon from Generation 1 through Generation 9. It covers all starters, many fan favorites, legendaries, and popular competitive picks. Use the generation filter to narrow your search to a specific gen.

Why do I get two fusion results instead of one?

Order matters in Pokémon Fusion. When you pick Pokémon A and Pokémon B, the tool shows A as head + B as body and also B as head + A as body. Each direction gives different stats, types, and abilities because the head and body contribute differently.

Which stats does the head control and which does the body control?

The head Pokémon has more influence over HP, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def. The body Pokémon has more influence over Attack, Defense, and Speed. Each head-weighted stat uses two parts head and one part body, divided by three. Body-weighted stats do the reverse.

How is the fused Pokémon's type decided?

Type 1 comes from the head Pokémon's primary type. Type 2 comes from the body Pokémon's secondary type. If the body only has one type, that single type becomes Type 2. If both types end up the same, the fusion is mono-typed.

What does the Find Fusion Match button do?

It finds the best partner for a Pokémon you already picked. Fill one slot and leave the other empty, then click the button. The tool suggests three Pokémon that give the best type synergy by removing weaknesses and adding resistances.

What is the difference between Custom, Autogenerated, and Shiny sprite styles?

Custom loads community-made fusion art from fan sprite databases. Autogenerated stacks the head sprite of one Pokémon on top of the body sprite of the other. Shiny uses shiny-colored sprites instead of normal ones. If no custom art exists, it falls back to autogenerated.

How are abilities chosen for the fused Pokémon?

The fusion can inherit abilities from either the head or the body. The tool lists the primary and hidden abilities of both Pokémon so you can see all your options. In Pokémon Infinite Fusion, you pick which ability to keep when you fuse.

Can I search for a Pokémon by its Pokédex number?

Yes. Type the Pokédex number into the search box, like 6 for Charizard or 25 for Pikachu. You can also type the name. The tool accepts both.

What does the radar chart show?

The radar chart plots the six base stats (HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed) for Pokémon A, Pokémon B, and the fused result all on one graph. This makes it easy to compare strengths and weaknesses at a glance.

How is the fused Pokémon's name created?

The tool takes the first half of the head Pokémon's name and the second half of the body Pokémon's name, then joins them together. For example, Charizard + Blastoise might become Charoise.

What does the type effectiveness section mean?

It shows how much damage each attacking type does to the fusion. 4× weakness means double super effective. 2× weakness means super effective. ½× and ¼× mean the fusion resists that type. means full immunity.

Does this calculator work on phones?

Yes. The layout adjusts to fit smaller screens. All buttons, search boxes, and result cards are designed to work on mobile devices as well as tablets and desktops.

Is this the same math used in Pokémon Infinite Fusion?

Yes. This calculator uses the same weighted average formula and typing rules as the Pokémon Infinite Fusion fan game. Head-weighted stats use 2× head + 1× body divided by 3. Body-weighted stats use 2× body + 1× head divided by 3.

What does the Swap button do?

The Swap A ↔ B button switches which Pokémon is in Slot A and which is in Slot B. This flips the head and body roles, which changes the fusion's stats, types, and abilities.

Can I fuse legendary Pokémon?

Yes. The calculator includes many legendaries like Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Zacian, Koraidon, and more. You can fuse any two Pokémon in the database, including legendaries with each other or with regular Pokémon.

What is the Fusion ID number?

The Fusion ID is shown as head Dex number . body Dex number. For example, Charizard (006) fused with Blastoise (009) gives Fusion ID 006.009. This matches the ID format used in Pokémon Infinite Fusion.

Why did the custom sprite not load?

Not every fusion has community-made custom art. When a custom sprite is missing, the tool automatically falls back to the autogenerated composite sprite. This uses the head and body sprites stacked together.
